8 soups you never thought to serve at your next catered party

Not only are soups one of the easiest things to serve, they’re also one of the most affordable. In Florida, it can be hard to get in the spirit of the season (thanks to our 90 degree temps that often linger into October), but who doesn’t instantly think of fall when soup is on the menu?

You may not know this, but at Crispers we have eight soups on our menu, and we serve them up by the quart for catered events. Just take a look…

Still wondering how your next catered party with just soups can be a success? Take those cute soup shots you’ve seen served as appetizers at other catered events and serve them up as a main course. But if you’re going to do it, you need to do it right. You may want to consider these tips…

  • Make sure you have a variety. Hello? If you can’t find variety above, we don’t know where you will find it. Just look at the list of soups we serve at Crispers: Broccoli Cheddar, Chicken Noodle, Butternut Squash, Loaded Potato, Tomato Bisque, Vegetarian Vegetable, Kickin’ Crab Chowder, and our Signature Baked French Onion. Serve up a few or all of them, the choices are practically endless.
  • Include toppings. Sure, our soups taste good as is, but who doesn’t like to put their own twist on tried and true classics from time to time? Not only does it ensure that each guest has the opportunity to make a soup their own, but when you have a bar of options for people to choose from, you’ve added a lot more fun to your event.
  • Warm bread goes a long way. Hot soup, warm bread, and a pat of butter is comfort food at its finest. And what’s one of the most important things to remember when you’re hosting a party? Making your guests feel comfortable is key!
  • Don’t forget dessert. Every catered party should end with something sweet, even a party that just served soups. And think of it this way: If you leave the soups to Crispers, you can focus on a dessert that is going to WOW your guests! Try that new recipe you pinned on Pinterest but haven’t had time to test yet. We’ll be over here cooking up your favorite soups!
